Strategy to success?

Last Update: June 17, 2010

I've been mulling over how to move forward. I have my business site and I have added a couple of links to products that work there. But I've seen loads of wonderful and wacky things that could be marketed when rooting around to find affiliate projects. It just would not be appropriate to put articles on all sorts of things on my business site.

I know that there is a school of thought that says you should focus on your core areas of knowledge and specialise but that looks way to limiting for me and I have just read:

How the Heck Do I Find Something to Promote??!!

and that has encouraged me in my thinking that I am going to set up an eclectic site devoted to my affiliate marketing efforts - in fact I have already bought a url wawo.com.  It's going to be a place where all sorts of stuff is featured.  I'm aiming to subdivide it into themes as it grows but in the beginning maybe starting with six products ... build it up from there.

Hope this is not a newbie type misguided way to go... (ops stop that negative thinking).
