Today is the last day of my $2 membership promotion (how has it been a month already???), and I see there are some new changes at WA. They look great, but I'm still heading out again. I enjoyed reconnecting with some of you!  I still will be back. I just need to focus and get to that $5k / month. I promise I will get there. I know it seems unlikely right now, but I know it will happen.  I won't give up. :)  I know I just need to be consistent and focus! (SO hard sometimes.)&

I took the deal that they gave to ex-members and came back. At least for a month. I promised myself that I wouldn't come back until I was making $5k a month via affiliate marketing - even if that meant I didn't come back until I was 80. But hey, I can't pass up a good offer. :)  No, I'm not making $5k yet. Not even close! I've barely been thinking about affiliate marketing.  My kids are out of school for the summer, so we've mostly been thinking about the pool!  But, here ar

I was going to make a post about how it's not about hard work in this or any industry. It's about *inspired* work. If you're inspired to do something, it really doesn't feel like work. And that's how it *should* be. We should enjoy every aspect of our lives - including "work".   Anyway, so, I got this in my inbox today from the Secret Scrolls. Be aware of the big difference between inspired action and activity. Activity comes from the brain-mind and is rooted in disbelief and

You know, I'm a big believer in Law of Attraction, and it's showing evidence again to me - but in a not so good way (at least for affiliate marketing)!  You know that  saying "when it rains, it pours." That's basically a Law of Attraction saying. When bad things happen, you focus on those bad things and more and more bad things happen, and you focus on them more and more, and more bad things happen...  (By the way, this works the other way around too! And when things are

Today is the day I start over. And start fresh. I'm taking a step back, letting go of ALL my campaigns for now (except for my debt blog) and focusing on a new one.  And I'm going to do this one right. I'm going to build a list. I'm going to create quality content. I'm going to make it on things that I like to write about, that I'm passionate about.  Most of all, I am going to have fun doing it. Even if it kills me. LOL. I'm going to focus on my OWN target market - the one that I am per

On June 1, 2009 I joined Wealthy Affiliate University, just to check it out. I was sure I was going to cancel after the trial period, but...here I still am! I felt like I've learned SO much about affiliate marketing. And I feel like there's SO much more to learn. I'm pretty sure there will always be something to learn.  While I was hoping that I would be making a full time income, driving around in my porsche cayenne by now, I am proud of my accomplishments so far. It is not easy working ar

So, I have a few sites that I'm working on. Site #1 is doing OK, making some sales. But the merchant closed down his site for a few days. I really hope it's going to be back up soon! I feel like I'm missing out on sales.  Site #2 has a pretty good amount of traffic, somewhere between 70-100 per day, and I'm getting tons of clicks but NO SALES!! That one hurts. Site #3  is in the #3 spot on Google for my main KW. Google says the term gets 130,000 hits a month. I got 14 visitors today.

Hey guys! I've been BUSY! I recently took on a couple of consulting jobs. One was just a small project and the other is more long-term.  While I'm excited to have these things to do, and to make some extra money, it made me rediscover why working for yourself is definitely the way to go! (Like we didn't all know that one. LOL)  #1. The short-term job I did ended up as a flop. I did 4 hours of work and got paid for 2. Enough said there. #2. The longer-term job is pretty good. I'm doing
