I just feel like chatting!

Last Update: May 11, 2010

I don't really want to talk about IM in this blog. I just feel like chatting. I love reading other people's blogs when they're just talking about normal stuff. Don't you get overwhelmed by all that marketing talk sometimes?

 I do!!

Anyway, I've been busy because my son's birthday was on April 17. My daughter's was on May 9 (which also was Mother's Day), and we had a party for both of them in between.

For my son's birthday, we went to the aquarium in Camden, NJ. Camden is pretty scary, but not where the aquarium is.

For my daughter's birthday we went to Longwood Gardens. I swear it's the most beautiful place on earth.  If any of you are in the Philly / Jersey area, you should definitely go. They also have the BEST mushroom soup in the world there. (Longwood Gardens is in a town famous for mushrooms.)

I'm super excited because I ordered the Insanity Workout program. I'm hoping it'll get me into shape, but I'm also scared of it! LOL.  The dude who create it - Shaun T - was an RA in my dorm my last year of college.

I'm also excited about this season's Survivor. Anyone else watch it? It's the BEST season ever, I swear.

I am also enjoying American Idol, America's Next Top Model, Celebrity Apprentice, Kitchen Nightmares and pretty much any reality show. :)

I recently got an email consulting job working from home, so I'm pretty happy about that!

Well, that's about it for my chit-chat. Tell me what you're up to too!

Now I'm off to bed. I read every night before bed. Right now, I'm reading three books. #1. New Moon. #2. A book by Harlan Coben (I can hardly ever remember the name of the books I'm reading!) and a book called "You're Not Sick, You're Thirsty." about how chronic dehydration causes a LOT of our medical issues. Makes a lot of sense to me!

Anyway, have a great night! I think I'll do more chatting later. This is pretty fun! :)

Hey, my pleasure. I have 2 kids, 18 yr old daughter and soon to be 16yr old son. His B-day is on July 4th-he grew up thinking that the fireworks were for his birthday. UFC, WEC, any mix martial arts. Take care Christina ( =

@ mmorales - Thanks for your comment. I love learning about what other people are up to. Do you have just 1 child? If you like mushroom soup, then you MUST get to Kennett Square - mushroom capital of the world - for some awesome mushroom soup at Longwood Gardens. Hahaha. That's probably not one on your map, but it should be. WTG with painting and fixing your porch. There's always so much to do with a house, right? Do you like to watch UFC? Have fun with your dirt bikes!

@ Joan - I have a feeling you'd love Longwood Gardens. I can just tell. :) But yea, it's not too close to Atlantic City. Atlantic City is fun though! My husband and I used to go all the time. Probably way too much! Ha! And yea, I like Cyndi Lauper too. I loved her red room. And I sympathized since my husband gave me the kids' rooms to do whatever I want. And - like Cyndi's red room - they are fabulous! :)

Hi Christina. It is nice to take a break from IM. Family is great. My daughter is home from college for the summer. Mushroom soup rocks! You really don't look like you're out of shape by any means lol. Not into reality shows or TV really, however I really like watching mixed martial arts. I am rebuilding my front porch and will repaint my house soon. Always busy doing something. Spring is here so time to break out the dirt bikes...yeah! Have a great day : )

Enjoyed this blog. Feels like having a nice visit with you Christina. Going to be in Atlantic City pretty soon for a convention. I imagine that isn't near Longwood Gardens. Oh my, I could handle some mushroom soup just fine. Celebrity Apprentice is a hoot. I'm a Cyndi Lauper fan. From that show, you can see why artists should not be in the corporate world. Donald Trump gets on my nerves. Hah! Funny.
