2 years Later
Well, it has been a long while since I have posted here on my blog.
I cant believe it, but I am on the eve of my 2 year anniversary here at WA. How time flies.
Let me give you a brief run down of what has happened so far:
1. I started with Squidoo and One Week Marketing. I made a sale after about 6 weeks. And quite a few more after that.
2. I build out a review website based on my online experiences and entreprenuerial adventures. It sux and you can still see it here: http://home-business-review-uk.com
3. I started selling insurance, and made more sales with squidoo lenses, and then built my first real affiliate site. Its still making sales http://phoneinsurancecompare.co.uk
4. I bought 'Power 3 Marketing' and was inspired by the potential of the offline world. I started an SEO company with a friend and its taken time but we are now turning over a decent amount of moola, with plenty more to come!
5. I paid for some personal coaching from WA's own Jarret S. which I still havent fully cashed in on, but I only needed a push in the right direction.
6. I kept on building affiliate sites, and had an idea on how to predict the future with technology launches. I launched a WSO with WA member Arnold Bailey, and it went 'WSO of the day' over at the Warrior Forum. You can see it here http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-special-offers-forum/449191-warrior-special-offer-day-how-i-made-5-295-53-part-time-while-getting-top-positions-google-free.html
I have sold 1300-ish copies. It was a massive success, but also a steep learning curve.
7. I found myself with a list, and now make money every week by sending an email. This is not as easy as it seems! But I enjoy building a relationshipwith my subscribers.
8. I launched my offline personal website http://thelazyofflinemarketer.com and I try to keep posting to it. I love the cartoon.
9. I have other product releases on the backburner. Stay tuned!
10. I have also developed youtube software with a programmer - was a dud, but i learnt alot.
These 10 points are only a summary. I have had LOADS of failures, but its all been a learning experience.
Not boasting at all (I still have a long way to go), but it wouldnt have happened if it wasnt for WA. I have made some great business relationships which I truely value.
My moral of the story is, if you dont love it, dont do it. You arent going to make a success of this, if its a chore. I still spring out of bed at 5.30am ready and raring to get going.
Also, dont get distracted by many different shiny things. Educate yourself. But finish what you started when you find something which works.
Please PM me, I will try to help you along your way. Ask advice before you put all your eggs in one basket. Otherwise you will be three months down, and your wife/husband/partner will be asking why there isnt any moola coming in!
Take it easy,
Dan
