How to Insert a Hyperlink Within an Article at Street Articles

Last Update: May 29, 2012
Hey guys, I just recently blogged after hearing one of my IM buddies laughing about his days as a Newbie. He was basically saying that he found the whole linking thing so difficult to grasp when he first started out in the Internet Marketing world. This got me thinking about my early days at WA back in May 2010. I too was lost when it came to inserting links into articles in order to get traffic back to my website.

It all just seems like such a simple part of driving traffic to my websites now that I just do it instinctively. That being said, I think it is important to remember that we all had to start somewhere. To that end. I just finished a blog entitled "How To Insert A Hyperlink Within An Article At Street Articles" that may help newbies in their article marketing linking efforts. Will also be adding a video shortly. Hope this helps!

Hi Kimco, Yes this is relatively easy. It is actually going to be the topic of my next blog post. Follow these instructions to link an image:

1. Download the image you wish to use to your desktop.
2. If you are using Wordpress, go to the the page or post where you wish to insert your image and click in the area where you wish for your image to appear.
3. Now look just above and on the right of the WYSIWYG tool bar. You will notice it says "Upload/insert". Click on that!
4. You can then select the relevant image from your desktop and upload it to your webpage
5. Now give your image a "Title" and add "Alt Text"
6. Then add the "Link URL" which will be the URL you wish for the image to link back to when someone clicks on it.
7. Now click on "Insert Into Post"

That's it. Your done. Hope this helps.

Don't forget like and share my blog post

All the best

Thank you very much Fanciadance. Your article has helped me by solving part of the hyper linking problem I have had. Is there a tutorial or any one who can help me hyper link a photograph from a website where I will buy the photo from and link it to my article in street articles or to my web site?

At least us new comers don't feel quite so alone when we hear that others have been there! I pondered --Do I really want to admit that I wasted the better part of the day trying to figure out why, why won't Street Articles accept my article? I kept getting an error message that my link was broken. You wouldn't believe the places that error message took me. I downloaded link repair software and read through anything that had the words broken link in it until my eyes were crossed. I even broached the subject in chat. However, I was not able to explain it intelligently enough so anyone could understand my problem. Finally just before I was ready to give up I discovered that I was not including the / at the end of my link. That is a lesson I will never forget.
Yes, it can be very time consuming and frustrating but for m,e if I survive the intense hunt for the answer I will succeed. I find it very satisfying when I solve the riddle and that is what will undoubtedly keep me coming back. Thanks for the encouragement!

We have all been there misshugh believe me. As you become more experienced you realize that persevering is what ultimately leads to the acquisition of knowledge. What you have to remember is that in your quest to uncover the solution for your initial issue, you will undoubtedly stumble across other information that will serve you well in the future. When you say that I wouldn't believe the places that error message took you, trust me, I can imagine. One thing is for sure, no matter how frustrating it may seem at the time, your quest for the solution will broaden your IM knowledge and ultimately lead you to the answer, Keep up the good work and you will be successful.
does WA put a limit on the number of affiliates on member's websites?

Hey Flightkiller, not quite sure I understand your question but if you are asking whether WA will stop you from advertising multiple affiliate products on one website then the answer is no. If I have misunderstood then give me a shout.
