How To Set The DNS Settings At WA

Last Update: June 05, 2012
So after blogging yesterday about whether or not it is OK to create tutorials on your own blog and then submit them as tutorials to WA, Kyle was good enough to let me know that the whole "Sharing Facility" will be ready to roll in about 7 days.

What can be shared?

Starting next week we can share content (profiles, blog posts, training) with anyone we like.

(1) Training Tutorials - You can share any of the training tutorials within the Open Education Project. The person that comes to the page will see ONLY the very first page of the training which will add incentive to people

(2) Training Videos - people externally will be able to view training videos. You can share the awesome videos within Wealthy Affiliate

(3) Blog Posts - You can share blog posts. The entirety of the blog post will be shown. There is awesome new content posted via blogs every single day which can be shared and leveraged!

(4) Profile Pages - You will be able to share your profile at WA. This will be a great method for showing others that you are an active member of the community. If a friend or someone that knows of your brand sees you are a member and can see your actual profile, they will be far more likely to join WA. You can also share other prominent members profiles within Wealthy Affiliate, another marketing angle.

With this in mind, I thought I would add another tutorial to my site ahead of the "roll out".

One thing that baffled me when I was first getting started at WA was the DNS Settings.

I know that Kyle has added a training module that covers this but there are no images included so I thought I would add a training module of my own that can be shared and includes images.

The tutorial on my blog is entitled:

How To Set The DNS Settings At Wealthy Affiliate

This step by step guide and live example should take you by the hand and lead you through each stage of the process with ease.

If it helps to remove a little confusion then please share it by Tweeting, Liking and Google +ing it

It's good to share!
