I am new to IM and overwhelmed with all the information. I have been here 3 months and very unhappy with my progress, not because of WA (I think this site is GREAT!) but because of my own lack of follow-through.
I am going to work hard to make this work. I know this isn't going to be easy and there are going to be those days where I just want to throw in the towel. I WILL NOT LET THIS HAPPEN!
I have 2 kids (8 & 12), a wonderful husband, and two dogs. We live in the Chicago burbs. I absolutely HATE the winters here (way too cold). We moved here 6 years ago from the beautiful Pacific Northwest and I very much miss home.
I currently work full time (well more than full time) in the accounting field. Although I am very good at this, I do not like it.
I love to make cakes, and I am very good at this. I make all the cakes for any occasion. This is a good hobby that sometimes I make a few penny’s at, but I would not want to do it all the time. It is a release for me to take a cake and turn it into something beautiful that is also edible.
My Goals:
Jan 25-- Have current website up and running
Feb 1-- Have 15 articles written and submitted
Feb 1-28-- Write and submit 2 articles a day

Thanks for sharing about yourself. I do have difficulty sticking to plans. But, I have done it successfully in the past, I will do it again. YOU will too. Si Se Puede! GO, woman. It is a good testimony that you work in the accounting field and you see the value of working extra hard to create an IM career.

Nice goals... but you say you can create cakes that are awesome right? There's a big market for people who would love to know how! Why not write a step-by-step how-to guide that explains creative ways to bake a cake!? Then I will help you come up with a fast way to make money from it...because it's not what you know, it's who you know!
