Let’s talk about Buddies, and the about “ME” profile. If I choose you to be my Buddy, I have read your profile or your blog—in other words, I like you already. It could be as simple as we are in the same boat, heading similar directions.

It is very thoughtful to reciprocate with those who choose you as a Buddy. The add Buddy button is easy to find (on the right side of the web page—at least that is where I find it).

It is also good to read some “Buddy” profiles who have been around longer than you or I, and that you appreciate for some reason known to yourself.

As a Real Estate Broker I have spent a few years creating a web presence. One of my favorite web moments was being listed first page Google by blogging and carefully choosing targeted key words. Of course I was also blogging with a Google Favored site: Active Rain.

I lost my passion for tangible real estate. However, because of real estate, I became obsessed with domain names (urls). I like naming things. I live in Long Beach, MS. Bob and I have been married over 20 years. We tend to lose track. To tell you the truth, we even forget our anniversary date and have to hunt up the documentation. We have a 20 year old son that just cut the apron strings, and a 16 year old prima donna, college bound. We also have two cats.

I earned a B.A. in Psychology with tons of support courses in marketing, management, economics, sociology, human services, criminal justice, feature writing, advertising…Can you tell I didn’t know what I wanted to do? …lacked a little direction.

I tend to work projects and assignments rather than be a person that marries a job. Because of that my work experience is diverse. My current assignment is working with a Post Katrina research study as a Field Interviewer.

My purpose with WA; like everyone else, I want to learn how to be a super duper IM $pecialist. But, I also want to learn what is real and worthwhile to help others wandering around in the desert.
