Traffic Bug -- Squashed
I've been going through the "Thirty Day Challenge" aka 30DC at www.thirtydaychallenge.com for more than a week and have learned some useful internet marketing tricks that I'm confident will work for me. In the past couple of days they led me to try out Traffic Bug from www.traffic-bug.com. I was optimistic, after all they recommended I try Market Samurai and I'm loving that, what could possibly be wrong with it?
I submitted the main URL of one of my blogs and also a blog post to Traffic Bug with my 40 day trial account, and then I moved onto other things. Now it's only been a few days since I've done that but I didn't see anything happening and wondered what might be happening in the background, so I did a little homework. It turns out that there are a lot of unsatisfied Traffic Bug customers over at the Warrior Forums (see the end of the post for the link).
I read through the complaints about it and there was enough bad press to give me reasonable doubts about it. It's a good thing I'm not paying for it, but I have no confidence that any of my efforts with it will amount to anything substantial. Oh well, onto better things, right? Unfortunately this has caused me to doubt the future validity of products recommended by Ed Dale and his team at 30DC.
Don't get me wrong, most of it seems very good. Especially Market Samurai. But even if 30DC is an excellently crafted sales funnel, it's still a sales funnel. As always, take what is useful, discard what is not, and add what is essentially your own.
