I finished up the WA marketing club last week.

When I started here I never expected to be able to write this many articles in one day.  So far I'm just scratching the surface and know that there are more to come.  My best day so far is 4 articles, a new page and a post.

Boy was I whipped at the end of that day.

I've been checking to see how my articles are performing and I'm getting a few click throughs.  Still no sales but the traffic is picking up.

My best article is still the first one I ever posted.  Quick and dirty didn't even focus on a keyword just put it up there to see what would happen.  Traffic to it has dropped off but it performed well while the views were up there.

Here's a link if you want to read it. Starting out in IM- Find Your Passion

I chose one keyword while in the club that looked to have a huge volume.  Looks like a good choice but here's the thing.  Apparently I missed the boat with the audience.  In 2 weeks it has over 100 views. No clicks. :( It was a clunky keyword phrase but I was able to fit it in to my content without it feeling too forced.  I guess the audience that is finding this article is more interested in making a quick buck online than doing the work. So its back to the drawing board.  I like the keyword volume and think if I can just tailor the pitch a bit to fit the audience it still might be worthwhile.

I'm finding that after an initial surge in viewers the articles drop off quickly so  I would love to hear any ideas that people have to increase the life of an article.

I trickle some backlinks to each article after about a week and posting to FB seems to get some views but not much interest.  I'm sure I could write another article with a pointer to my first but this seems counterproductive.

 Ideas would be appreciated.
