My name is Lorretta but everybody calls me Retta. I'm from Texas.
RE: My Picture, Gabby is the Congo African Grey on the left. Sara is the Cockatiel on the right. The old ugly one in the middle is me.
I am also a volunteer for www.911parrotalert.com. We go through CraigsList postings and dozens of online Lost & Found sites and post them on our web site. I am in charge of New Jersey, Delaware & Florida.
I have 30 years with the phone company and hope to retire next year. I would like to be able to make some money online to supplement my retirement.
So far I am totally confused!

Welcome to WA, Retta! You have made a good decision to come to the place where you can Learn to Earn. I have written several tutorials that may help you get the most out of WA. If you go to the Share Zone and put TJ Books in the search box, they will pop up for you. Good luck and hang in there! Now for the birds. Some years ago my son went to Peru for 18 months. He had a Cockatiel named Nicky Bird. Nicky knew many songs but while my son was away, he did not sing once even though I tried to keep him company and tried to get him to sing for me. When my son came home I was down stairs with Nicky. He heard my sons voice upstairs and went crazy. He sang every song he knew and kept singing when my son came down to see him. Now my son is a vet, has 13 kids, 9 adopted, and is adopting two more. Occasionally he will treat a parrot. I've been a birder since I was a kid and I have owned a few.

Welcome to WA Retta and greetings from Canada. I know it can be quite overwhelming in the beginning but if you read through the junior portion of the learning center and do the week lessons it will start to make more sense. Also go in to the forums and read some of the posts, there is a lot of information there as well. Last but not least don't be afraid to post a concern or problem in the forum and everyone wil help to get you back on track Good luck and every success!!
