I would continue to add content to your site, and maybe start a tighter niche along side it. It could be a niche you find by digging the broader niche. Or it can be an entirely different niche. It's all about experimenting to find what works for you. I don't see any problem in making 2 or 3 websites and experimenting with them. There are no rules, just techniques designed to help you. When you see one of the sites working (selling), then examine what you did and repeat the pattern. You can make 20 websites, and if 5 of them are producing steady sales, then you'll do very well.
