I've had an ezine account for the past couple of years and am at Basic Plus level. In the past I've had a lot of articles chucked back at me, even had my account suspended for a week at one point. It just felt everything I did, I kept stuffing up in some way and I guess I got into that spiral where anything that can go wrong does go wrong.

So I haven't posted anything there since June. The past week I have read a couple of great tutorials on WA from our wonderful potpiegirl and ezinewriter too. All the time their main message was quality, quality, quality and not stress about the technical aspects.

Soooo, I wrote a couple of articles pretty much from the heart just to put up on my new site. Just testing and getting used to the wordpress interface you see. Trying to relearn everything that I'd forgotten in the past several months of im inactivity.

Anyway, a day later I thought, well I might as well whack these two articles up on ezines, make a start on the backlink of my new site. So I did. I knew there were new rules with ezines, but I have yet to check them out, and figured what's the worse they can do.

The best they could do as it happened was to approve both my articles within 24 hours, and 24 hours now, I've had over 100 views on the two. I know it's not much and my click through rates are low on both, something like 14% overall, but I hadn't really researched any keywords for them and my resource box is pretty naff too. But I am surprised and it's further pushing me to writing quality articles rather than rehashes of PLR or other articles.

All in all an encouraging start and I'd like to thank ppg and ezines for their wonderful tutorials and suggestions. With a little more thought, I think I could improve on those early stats.

potpiegirl's one is a pdf and I'm buggered if i can remember where I saw it. Sure it was on here, was a fair size too, over 20 pages.It may have come in an email of course, but I'm certain itwas on here.

It's 4:20am here at the mo and I've taken a sleeping pill so my memory is fading quick. Hopefully she'll read this and point you in the right direction, it was only new in the past week and it was really talking about not stressing with your articles and just writing and getting stuff up there. Which is what I did.
