I created a blog on this site at 6 this morning.  Put up one post with 3 backlinks to one of the sites that interests me.  I finished at 6:17.  At 6:18 I pinged it (pingler.com and pingomatic.com).  At 6:55, it was indexed.

No, you cannot. However, you can have links in your profile. If you make a post, your profile shows at the bottom, with the links.
But read a few posts. It's not like ezinearticles.com
