I always had my suspicions and this article seems to confirm some of them. It's part of the reason I dropped almost all my email list subscriptions. Although it was quite humorous when a 'new' product would be coming. All the lists would start throwing out very similar pitches to every list. Interesting to see what 'perks' each one would add to get you to sign up through their link.

On the flipside though, not EVERY internet marketer is out to scam you.

Wow ... all that for a .99 e-book? That's a little scary. I talk about the scams too, (don't we all?) but I also make a point to say there are good programs out there. I am "selling" them after all! I hope I'm not inadvertently promoting this kind of stuff! :s
