The Long Tail

Last Update: July 13, 2012
I was reading the chat this morning and a question came up about deciding on a Niche.

The person said "I'm worried there are so many websites" "everyone else is doing it" On and On.

I'm not being rude when I say these are lame excuses. Why are the lame? For starters read the book called the "Long Tail". The basic point of the book is we can't all be the head of the dragon, yet we can all profit from the dragon. We just need to stop wanting to be the head of the dragon.

That's why I joined Wealthy Affiliates. They are teaching us how to be a profitable part of the dragon.

Watch the three WAbinar's Jay did back in March.

Jay shows us how to find niches by doing keyword searches. This is where you can find a way to make a profit from your niche EVEN if many other people are also making a profit. You can perform 30 keyword searches on Jaaxy.com for free. WA also has a very nice keyword search tool. Don't over analyze what you're doing. Let things flow the way they want to flow. Don't force yourself on the flow. You can't stop the river so stop trying!

You don’t need to spend tons of money to get this business up and running. In fact I believe the less money you have the more successful you’ll be because you can’t go out and buy every dumb product that comes along.

This business – like any successful business takes time and persistence.

I really enjoy being here and meeting people who are struggling one step at a time to be successful.

Thank WA and remember stay on the tail.

My whole program is based on those three Wabinars. Good advice.

Good advice for anyone trying to figure out how to "make it" online. one step at a time and lots of patience and constant implementation of each lesson learned and we all can have a piece of the pie...this dragon is big enough for all of us!

Nicely put! :) That was the biggest hurdle I had too. It's slowly starting to sink into my thick skull though.
