Hi Everyone in WA-Land!
Well...I've been here over a year now and am happy to say that I have learned more in that one year about online marketing than I had in the many years prior to WA that I had spent in other programs that just plain didn't work for me.
I truly think the main reason for this is the WA community: the support, the willingness to help, the ability to get that help anytime I need it. I love that you don't have to wait hours or days for a reply - that it's there whenever you need it. This could be because WA has members all over the globe!
I am still a professional organizer by day but now don't have to book so many offline workdays and can devote part of my week to my online endeavors. I now have a few local clients who actually pay me to build and run their sites. Yep, I am now a webmaster. I also have a physical product called Stacked Glass Art and have my hands in affiliate marketing.
Am I making enough online to sit back and let things roll? No. But I'm well on my way and have made more gains in my knowledge and understanding of the world of online marketing than I ever thought possible. I am still a student: Still learning. Still building my network. Still trying new things. Some of us move faster than others and that's fine with me. I work at my own pace and in the time allotted. And you can too!
The biggest thing I've learned here backs up one of my all time mottos: Just Do It! Whatever I learn, I take action on. I make mistakes and then I get help to correct them. I read the trainings and do what they tell me to. And I love every minute of it!

I just want to introduce myself so I'm keeping this kinda short for now.
I have learned about affiliate marketing in the past and went through some motions; bought all kinds of training packages that were cumbersome and overwhelming, time consuming and expensive. I actually did set up an eBay store called Stacked Glass Art where I sell handcrafted items that a friend of mine makes. I also have a web site (lots of content but short on interaction because I still don't know or understand everything) at www.stackedglass.net. If anyone wants to lend some constructive criticism to this site, please feel free to do so.
I hail from PA but spent some years recently in FL where I met the Stacked Glass artist. I have expertise in a few areas including communications/journalism and writing in general, editing, and marketing (B2B offline). I am also and most recently a teacher of eight years which I found out wasn't all its cracked up to be -- at least not for me. I edit books as a freelancer and am currently writing a children's book in collaboration with an illustrator I met in a chat room at Etsy. Oh, yeah, I also run an Etsy store for the stacked glass items.
My two cats, Renni and Pywacket, and my pet turtle, Max, keep me company during the day when I am at home.
