Happy to be back - my first day!

Last Update: July 16, 2012
Today is my first day of being able to walk and sit again for any amount of time. That was really a long haul. Thanks everyone for your suggestions and support. I wasn't even able to read email and so have spent literally hours today sorting through everything and cleaning up my e-mails and all. During my down time, I decided which things to focus on and which to let go. WA is going to be my only focus - any projects I have been working on elsewhere I will either abandon or transfer to WA.

I really have had to let go of the hope of making money online right now. It was stressing me so much. I don't know if it will actually be possible for me. Perhaps if I choose a more profitable niche, though I do think a person with the right skills could make anything successful. I just don't want to give up totally, and I think if I put all my creative attention in one place I will have more chance of success. I certainly need income, but don't think with my back pain situation that holding an actual job again, even if one were out there, is a viable option. I'm kind of in a very discouraged state and desperate too over the financial problems - just don't know where to go with it. I'm going to take things day by day and step by step and try my hardest to stay in a receptive and positive zone.

Glad to be back and will catch up on everyone's blogs and articles as soon as I can!

Focusing on one thing is a really good idea. Especially if it is causing you to stress out. This stuff should be enjoyable. If you are enjoying it, people will see that and want to come back to your site.

Sorry your back is being tedious. I know how that can be. Acupuncture worked for me. If you have something organic going on it can mediate the issues.

Hi Lisa, welcome back! Glad you're feeling better, back pain is nasty. I'm still not working on my site, between my ever growing cleaning business and my computer course, my shoulder says no way. I t's hard keeping up with the e mail, that's where my priority is right now. Don't push yourself too hard, take it one day at a time, and you'll get there.

Thanks, Linda! Sorry about your shoulder, too. Good advice to not push too hard, though hard to follow with all that needs doing. I'm very glad for you that your business is growing and going well. Money coming in always helps!
