I guess I Am Not Really On Page 1 of Google

Its funny I was in chat today talking to people and I told them how i was on page 1 of Google but still had no traffic coming to my website and they said to log out of your Google account and then try and find your site in the SERPS.

I guess I'm not even no where near page 1 and to be honest with you, I can't even find my site at all. I got really excited for nothing I guess, But i am still writing articles and writing new posts daily. I know I will get there sometime soon, I am just gonna keeping working hard towards my goal and go back and watch a bunch of Wabinars.

I just thought I would blog to you guys for a minute and keep you up to date on my progress.

Don't focus too much on checking your rankings every few hours. They can be inconsistent based on location, time zone, and other factors. You can be on page 1 today, page 3 tomorrow, and page 1 a week later. Look at the other factors which matter too, like traffic to your site and conversion. And keep us updated. Don't give up.

Yeah i made this mistake awhile back and realized that i needed to log out of my google account. Don't be dishearten though. I was on page 5 when I logged out of my now i'm page 1 position 7 so still a lot of work to do but it's getting there!

The same thing happened to me! I was so excited about being on the first page...until I logged out and tried it again. A few months later and I am on the first page for a few of my long and short tail keywords.

Keep at it and you will get there before you even realize it :)
