Page 1 of Google but still No Traffic

Last Update: April 08, 2012

Hello everyone I got some pretty exciting news too tell you all. I just ranked 4th for my keyword on Page 1 of Google, But I haven't had no Traffic to my site yet but maybe a few people every few days. I have a few articles out there with links back to my site, and I got a couple Blog posts Up and a good landing page.

I got pretty excited to see my website on page 1 of Google but I just wondered when I will start getting traffic? I know this Is a Work of progress and I am Making progress everyday. Also Is It a Bad thing to have a bunch of different affiliate links on your pages as long as they are all related to the same niche?

Any Comments Or Suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Scott, I know how you feel. I got a page of one of my sites that is not only ranked on page 1, but is also in position 1 out of 1.2 billion pages. I only get less than 10-20 visitors from that link. I just keep posting articles and wait to see the traffic start to come in. I also got another link that is on page 9 of Google and I get over 100 visitors a day from that link. Go figure. I agree with others have said, you just have to be patient because the traffic will come.

Good going Scott just seeing something you created on page one of google is exciting. Whatever you did to get there, just do it some more. I'm finding out that getting traffic is a cumulative effort and every effort should be geared toward strengthening prior efforts and when you see something that is working then build upon that effort. I agree with BIS, PotPieGirl's recent training is a valuable read.
As far as "a bunch of different affiliate links" don't lose sight of what your focus is and your readers won't lose sight of what your focus is either. Personally, I wouldn't try to juggle to many balls at once.
Hope this helps and keep up the good work.

Welldone, you have done a great job by getting the site indexed by search engine. What is required of you is promotion of the site. If you put more effort in promotion, people will definately visit the site and eventually take action

Hi Scott. Well done for getting your keywords ranked. The best advice I can offer is keep writing. There is no standard of when you will start getting more traffic. You have to keep offering useful content and you have to be promoting in other areas, whether it be in forums, through social media etc.

Read PotPieGirl's most recent training - this will give you some ideas.
