First Sales Happy Days

Just a word out to newbies like myself, keep at it, I made my first sale today with clickbank and over 10 sales with Commission Junction (though small) 

After reading an email sent to me this week telling me Article Marketing is basically dead, and Facebook is the new way forward (buy my product please) my head was spinning and thinking am I wasting my time. Though the internet is changing, and new methods using Facebook and Twitter seem to be growing, I wonder are kyle or Carson going to address this  and add new training, I'd hate to think we are wasting our time with methods that may be dead by the end of the year, any thoughts?

Thank you for your comments, I know article marketing would be impossible to die, but even as a newbie I can notice fast drastic changes in the way the Internet is moving, and I'm just hoping that WA will move along with it and quickly, making it more enticing to stay as a member, especially for people that arrive here now since the price went up.

When google did the change there recently, one of my site I hardly approach or tweak, went from 15-30 visits a day, to 600 a day, I don't know why, but it has produced my first sale(I know, should be more right) but it has encouraged me to head back to that site and improve it.

On the other topic, I really hope WA produce tutorials for Facebook/Twitter etc. There is potential there I'm sure they already no about and we would love to too.

Congratulations Stephen. Just use all of it. Article marketing is an excellent way to broadcast your ideas about a subject as well as drive traffic. I like Twitter, though I haven't gotten deeply into it yet. Nice that they are friendlier to advertising than they used to be. I used to get kicked out of it. Facebook and Twitter to promote products would be an excellent tutorial here, plus the other social media. I'd like to get more savvy. Keep up the good work.

Congrats on your success Stephen! Yes, facebook and twitter are powerful tools in my marketing worldwide. I agree with Jay, Article Marketing is a way to drive targeted traffic and is far from dead.

It's news to me that article marketing is dead... If someone told you that Article Marketing is dead, they are most likely leading you to buy a product.

Article Marketing is merely a way to drive traffic to a landing page or blog and help you achieve awesome rankings for keywords.
