Having trouble submitting Article to Squidoo

I'm back to working on WA.  I attempted to submit my article to Squidoo (I'm promoting the WA Affiliate Program), but their system wouldn't accept my keywords due to their rules.  Basically there rules are no illegal stuff, no pornography, & no spam.  Obviously I would not be promoting the first two things.  As far as spam, I really don't get what they consider spam.  I quickly read their rules.  They seem to be anti-affiliate program promotions.  I see other people have promoted WA on Squidoo, what is wrong with me promoting?  They have to know that many people are promoting their affiliate programs on Squidoo.  What gives? I decided to consciously make an effort not to get flustered.  I will work on something else with WA until I can think of a way to resolve this.  I would appreciate any suggestions from my WA buddies.  Thanks.

Hi, When I first started promoting WA on Squidoo back in June they kept denying my sites. They were suppose to be spammy. I searched through their information and I read somewhere that I had too many links in my lens. Also I believe the limit was nine links. Like I said this was back in June and once I corrected this they published my lenses.

I believe I've read in the forums that Squidoo is getting fed up with too many similar lenses promoting WA, weightloss, getting your ex back etc. I think they now have new guidelines, not just the basic rules about pornography and the like. Hey, 1courage! Know what? I tried to build a lens the other day for a weight loss program and it wouldn't accept mine either. And, yes, there were other lenses on the same topic. I think the problem has to do with their assumption that we're trying to "sell" something rather than just "present" something. Know what I mean? Haven't had the time to figure a way around it yet, but when I do I'll let you know. Where there's a will, there's a way!

Hi. I posted my first article to squidoo a few days ago and didn't have any problems but I wasn't heavy on the WA promotion. However, I'm also not ranking on google. I don't think it's a very good lens but you are welcome to take a look. I'll post it in my blog. Good luck! Devan
