Yup, Google again. I've got a bunch of sites. Two of them fell in the ranks, to page 6 or 66 (and everywhere in-between). The rest of my sites, moved up in rank (unless they were in the top 5 or 6 already). Depending on keyword, the move was between 3 and 10 spots, most 5 or 6. I've been doing the same on-page optimization. I've been doing the same off-page optimization. However, as Google changes, I adapt. So, older sites have backlinking that newer sites do not have, or not i

Thirteen months ago an insurance guy hired me for some SEO.  Got him to have several keywords on page 1 (1,1,3,3,4,9,9,10).  That increased his client acquisition 10%.  He gets $200 to $500 per new client upfront and, then, if they stay, he gets residual income.  Most stay a few years.  But he was sure that once I got him the positions, he'll have them forever.  On April 7th, I met with him again (he hired me to do SEO for 2 new keywords, bought a mobile sit

Target, for example, has figured out how to data-mine its way into your womb, to figure out whether you have a baby on the way long before you need to start buying diapers. Charles Duhigg outlines in the New York Times how Target tries to hoo

In California, not Illinois, not etc.  If you're in Illinois and etc., doesn't this suck! Here's the link to the article that explains it all:  http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-amazon-tax-collect-20111103,0,6873303.story. One of the article directories I post to doesn't want to let me post an article where I use the words assistant vice president and assisted living facilities.  Reasons: 'ass' is not an allowed word.  Ain't automation grand? You want to try it yourself?  It's netymon.com.  Otherwise a fine thing, though Google indexes a lot slower than other places.
