I know, you all get the same spammy comments I do.  Still, I got a kick out of this one: Your site is so freaking amazing I almost cried while reading it. Why did it give me such a kick? Because my site's about treadmills.  What's a treadmill made of, what's a good treadmill.  I know it's a piece of software that put the comment there.  But the mismatch was perfect. Now a question for you.  Why are you reading this crap? Don't you have something to promote? Huh?  Hu

Akismet, bless it's little electronic heart, finds spammy comments, and I, after a cursory glance, empty the box.  Not everybody's happy about it.  Here's someone fighting back to get in my comment spam box.  Just so you know, my site is about exercise equipment. Why have you deleted my post? It was very useful information and i assure atleast 1 person found it helpful unlike the rest of the comments on this web site. I’ll post it again. Sick and tired of obtaining low number

I send Chistopher Knight and email, asking what's their policy on articles published somewhere else.   To be exact, I asked: If I publish an article somewhere else, can I  submit it to Ezinearticles.com? His very short answer: Yes, provided it's under the same author name.   I felt compelled to make this post by the shear number of people who seem to think you must first publish in ezinearticles.com or else.

I just finished deleting a bunch of comments on one of my blogs.  I had 9 from the same person, same exact content, on 9 posts.  The posts and site are about fitness equipment.  The comment was about building seo'd sites.  Specifically, if I was tired of lousy traffic, there was a solution, just click here. That got me thinking about why would that person do that?  Or why would that person pay a service or for a tool that would post such a comment on a site like mine. T

This is for when you're pre-selling, trying to convince them to go to the sales page but are not writing an article or a review. There are people who claim that graphics is what keep people on their pages.  Saw this in the Forum, here at WA.   Images, especially images of pretty faces, do slow people down, they have to look.  But if the site doesn't have a good headline nearby, the visitors move on to the next site. I've done it myself once or twice, stopped on a site, distra

I'm asked for advice often.  Usually, the request starts with: 'I get decent traffic' and ends with 'What do you thin?' by way of 'no sales.' I've noticed 3 things people who ask me for my advice have in common. 1.  They have not decided whether the article/post on the site is a review, a sales letter, or an informational piece. 2. They target nobody or a very broad swath of the world population. 3. They think people buy features. 1. A review doesn't merely describe the features. Wh

http://www.5minutesite.com/local_keywords.php You put in a city or zip code (US), you put in a distance,, keywords, and it will come up will all the permutations of all the cities, suburbs, zip codes within the radius you wanted.   You can also build a free site for your small business.  There are limitations, so if you want a lot out of your site, you'll have to upgrade.

Eye movement test while shopping online (amazon.com) is the link to a blog post on stomer.net.  Cool, if you're an affiliate marketer!

Google's new keyword tool brought me keywords that were related to the one I inquired about.  For real.  For the first time.  Do you think it's going to make a habit of it?
