Adding to the Arsenal

I spent the last 2 days getting familiar with Gimp.

For those that are not familiar with this program it is similar to Photo shop but is open source and Free.

If you have some experience with CAD packages this has some similarities.  If you are familiar with Photo shop then I expect the learning curve is quite small.

Just another tool to add to my tool-belt.

Sorry Wes, what Jay said.... I''ve been into it in depth for two days and find that the biggest limitation is my OWN brain. There is so much power and a bit of convoluted reasoning but I'm sure it will feel like a comfortable pair of slippers in no time.

It is a great tool. I use it all the time to create headers on a site or reconfigure a picture. Cutting some of this out and adding some of that out. It just take a little practice like anything else.
