Write Right

Last Update: January 31, 2011

I was doing some surfing ( I think its called Research now)

and came across a book by Stephen King.  Now, I'm more of a magic and elves kind of guy but I have read most of his books.  Or so I thought.  The one I found is probably scarier (sp?) ( More scarey) than any I've read.

Hard to believe it was only $1.98.  The shipping cost more than the book.

OK, I know you are on the edge of your seat wondering which one of Stephen King's books I missed.

It's called " On Writing- A memoir of the craft"  OK, OK, so maybe its not so frightening.  I never would have purchase it last year.  But now, I want to learn everything there is to know about this mysterious profession called writing.

Like it or not folks.  It's true.  You're a writer now....

Good Luck with your endeavors.

Craig H.

His family is from a town next to me, and he used to be seen here a lot. Quite a presence, very tall. Prolific writer. Confess, I haven't read much of his work, probably because Harry Potter is as scary as I can handle.

So far I'm getting a nice narrative about his early years and the 1000's of rejections he got from magazines. One or two article rejections is a small price to pay compared to what writers went through in the 60's.

I think Stephen King is more of a screen writer now as most of his stuff ends up as movies.. So does this mean there's a movie on writing around the corner? LOL
