For some reason I've had a hard time finding the time to work on this site.
So its going more slowly than I would have wished it is however coming along.
So here's what I have done so far.

Researched the niche by going to see the Hunger Games.
     The purpose of this site is to capitalize on the increased interest of kids that are getting their first exposure to Archery from this movie.  So, I figured I'd better go see it.  Since the wifely unit is a big movie buff we made a date of it.  Two birds and all that.

Spent many long hours researching on the web for information, vendors, affiliate networks and forums. 

Purchase the URL, installed Wordpress and selected a Theme.
    Using a generic theme for this one.  Weaver ii.  It is customizable and has a data area that maintains all of the site settings when it is updated.  This is nice so that when I update anything the Analytics code is undisturbed.

Installed a cool background and header image.

Attempted to load the Ping Optimizer but got an error when doing this.

Activated all the Plugins, Got my Akismet key and enabled that and the SEO Pack.

Created Home Page, About Me, Privacy Police and Contact Page.
Created a Blog Post Page, and am working on creating content pages.  One Blog post is done on a brief history of Bows.  One Content Page on Longbows.  Started one on Recurve Bows.  Compound Bows are next.

Allowed the site to be crawled by changing the privacy settings on 5/12.  Created a site map.

That's it so far,  when I like what I've written for the content (after tweeking) I'll digg and Reddit the postings.  And Ping of course.
Next up is Getting the Google Analytics code and verifying the site in Google Webmaster Tools.
