Google Closed My Blog
For over three years I've had a Google Blogger blog for my local Pottery.
Google have just sent me an email informing me that it's been deleted for reasons of SPAM.
They point me to their terms and conditions page:
=====
Spam: Spam takes several forms in Blogger, all of which can result in deletion of your account or blog. Some examples include creating blogs designed to drive traffic to your site or to move it up in search listings and posting comments on other people's blogs just to promote your site or product.
=====
Because the site pointed to the main Pottery site it was deemed (after they personally checked it, apparently) that it was meerly to send traffic to the main site and, therefore, considered SPAM.
The whole point of blogs is to encourage readers to visit your other sites, surely?
So, just a warning to others should you point posts or comment on other's sites which point to your site. Google could deem it as SPAM.

PS: I just tried to access my Gmail email account and they've requested my mobile telephone number in order to send me a confirmation text with a number to enter before they'll let me continue using it. I've just completed this task and now I'm able to use my account.
I've had the account ever since Gmail first began and use it every day ... I'm getting concerned.
