PayPal Changes Rules
Just a heads up about a change ot the Terms & Conditions at PayPal
this month. While I am sure non of you mislead your customers with
misleading descripitons... it's worth mentioning these new terms and the
affect it may have if you are not open and honest.
==============================
START ======================
From 1 June, customers who pay you with
PayPal will be protected if they receive a product that doesn't match
its description. Over 20 million online shoppers use PayPal and by
offering them great protection, we're helping to improve their service
in order to drive more overall business for you.
What does
this mean for you?
If a customer buys something from your
website, then makes a claim because it is 'significantly not as
described', you may be liable to cover the costs. It's therefore very
important to ensure that product descriptions on your site are as
accurate as possible.
The change to our buyer protection policy
will take effect from 1 June 2010 and won't apply to transactions made
before this date. To learn more about 'Significantly not as Described'
claims, click below and go to section 13 of our User Agreement.
