Welcome to Wealthy Affiliate!

The next time you return here you will probably take a tour of the site.  While some are quick to jump right into it, ...others just want to take a look around.  Kind of like a child who doesn't want to be seen in the background.  Which is something you won't have to worry about here.  There are no flashing lights that let others know, "Jim just walked in the door!"  Take your time and have a look around.

Look at the tabs at the top of the page to see what is under them.  Look at the blocks on the front page.  The Forum and Blog rolls are always changing.  The tutorial block, the featured Forum and Blog of the day are always of interest.  

While you are looking at all this keep a couple of things in mind.  This is all here for your benefit to help you succeed with the goals you have in mind.  That does not mean you have to learn all of them in one week or a month.  You are the best judge at setting a pace for yourself.  Which all depends on how much knowledge and experience you had prior to joining Wealthy Affiliate.

Those who have more experience with computers and surfing online might be able to move at a faster pace.  While others may still be getting a feel for using a PC and getting around online.  Remember that there are no deadlines here.  The only one who will be pushing you at a pace faster than you can tolerate is yourself.

Now that you've had a few days to get comfortable with the place it is time to jump into the "Action Plan."  After you have been there your first day you are going to feel what every new member has felt.  ...Overwhelmed.  Part of that feeling comes from skimming through the pages.  Seeing all that is in front of you.  While you go through the course you will find links.  Asking you to go over and read this link before you continue reading the page you are on.

This is when most new members feel like they are being pulled in10 different directions and don't know which way to turn next.  This is when you take a deep breath, exhale slowly and finish reading the material on the page the link took you to.  When you are done it's time to call it a night.  Go relax and think about the things you read about.

If you want to hang around, ...go over to the best place on this website.  The Forum.  Look through the subject articles.  Pick one out of the hat that catches your interest and read the replies to it.  You will learn quickly that you are not the first who has felt overwhelmed like you may be feeling at the moment.  Look through some of the other topics to see what the members discuss. 

The difference in the Forum at WA is unlike most others which is the best part.  If you have a question they don't require you to look through the thousands of posts to see if it was already asked and addressed.  If you have a question or are confused about something, ...post a New Topic.  You will learn that WA is not just a big place, ...it's a tight community of people that are as close as the folks who live in a small town.

Remember that life is full of choices and you made one in taking the step to join Wealthy Affiliate.  In doing so you have made a commitment to learn about a growing market that can improve your life along with those around you.  What you have chosen to do is what many others shy away from.  A challenge is one of the hardest things to stand up to and take on in life.  Many find it easier just to back away from it.  That doesn't take any effort.

You have made the choice to step up to the plate and take on anything that comes your way with this challenge.  That is why each and every one of you are to be congratulated.
