I Quit....
Last Update: July 17, 2012
I am not really quitting but just when I was feeling like I was making progress I feel like I am getting kicked in the teeth. Just as things seemed to be going well my hubby is all over me to get a real job. I am rethinking my approach here right now.
First I am going to check out elance and odesk and see if there are jobs that I can do because I really don't want to just get any old job and I don't want it to interfere with the dance lessons I have already paid well in advance for.
I have been on the verge of tears the last few hours because this is always an issue with us. I don't think any job will actually make him happy that is why I was so determined to make a go of this type of work. He seems to want me to keep the house clean, keep the yard up, handle all of the household responsibilities except taking the trash out and walking the dog and make money.
Let us not forget that he wants me to be ready to go anywhere at the spur of the moment and he would really like it if I do not get fat again. Maybe I should create a website just to rant about unreasonable expectations from husbands.
So here is the sad deal I am going to have to look really hard for any job that will fit the hours that I have available and then use my free time to clean, budget and pay bills, work on IM, work on the yard and garden and.....well everything else that needs to be done here.
I think he forgets that we have been through this with my many jobs in the past where I work and do everything I can do but then there is something else that makes him unhappy like the house not being clean enough or his favorite pair of work pants can't be washed 3 times a week.
Some days I feel like I can't win. My hubby and I get along great these days as long as we don't talk about my lack of a real job. Any ideas for real jobs I can do at home that pay better than paid to click and mlm sites would be appreciated.
So I am off to look for some gigs online that pay more than a dollar an hour and some part time jobs that fit into the hours that won't make my dance investment a huge waste of money.
Sorry this is a poorly written post as I am angry and all I want to do is break something right now or maybe have a good long cry. One day life is great and everything looks good then the next it is hard to focus on the good or anything for that matter because I am so upset.
Here is the kicker on all of this we have plenty of cash saved for emergencies and we don't ever touch it for any reason that is not urgent. When I say urgent I mean that we have a tree fall on our house or we have a huge car repair bill. I don't ever touch it for these online ventures either. I never ever dig into it and most of the time I ad to it a little each month. So we are not ever broke even if he gets laid off he just wants me to make money and as soon as possible. He only wants me to spend money that I make. He doesn't mind paying all the household bills and for food but he wants me to make all of my spending money.
It really shouldn't be so hard to make a few hundred dollars a month but I am failing at it and I am spending too much to try to make it work. Every dime I have made I have put back into it. I suppose I should stop that so I can at least prove to my hubby I am making progress.
Well there I go again ranting and raving sorry I just needed to get it our somewhere.

Just a quick note my husband is not evil and I don't plan on kicking him to the curb I just don't understand what he wants and honestly he can't tell me when I flat out ask him and I find this very frustrating. I don't want to be that woman who is yelling at her husband but I would also like to nail down what he really wants and if I produce that I don't want to hear crap about it not being good enough. He does not expect me to have a full time job but if I work part time and still work on IM it will take up a great deal of time. Oh well life goes on and I will figure something out but thanks everyone for listening to me!

I know how you feel! I have the same issue with my husband. It's not that he doesn't support my IM efforts, he just simply doesn't believe it's works. He doesn't think it's possible to make any real money online. On too of that, I work full time, clean the house, do the laundry, cook our meals, pay the majority of our bills, and take care of our two year old more often than not. But, I want a better life for my family and I let that be my motivation. Don't give up, we will get there.

Nothing against your hubby, but I know if I had a girlfriend I'd be the one taking out the trash... Having them do nasty jobs like that just doesn't seem right to me. I'd be there showing my support and love every step of the way with no matter what she decides to do. As for your being fat, you are beautiful no matter what shape you are in (just try to stay healthy). Remember this. I know bigger women who are very healthy.
As for your problem, I can help you quite a bit & I'm sure IveTriedThat can help you a lot with that (Steve). He knows a lot about jobs you can do online to make you some spare cash every month working for somebody else. It's important that you find a good job and not some weirdo trying to take advantage of others. I highly suggest checking out guest blogging, in which you can find more information on Steve's website @ http://www.ivetriedthat.com/2012/05/23/7-websites-that-pay-50-or-more-for-guest-blog-posts/. They pay $50 or even more for highly informative information usually over a new topic or ideal (that you can probably find by exploring other websites across the net). TechLabs at http://www.thetechlabs.com/become-an-author/ is honestly the only one I care to do due to the high payout they give and my interest in technology.
To add to that, I'm also allowing people to work for me and make money from whatever I make on my home site and a sub-domain they're working on towards a specific niche while they make 70% profits. I get 30% unless you refer somebody else to work for me, in which you'll get 15% of the profits of who you referred. I don't mean to purposefully advertise it (hence why my domain is not put here) & I won't have it going for probably 1 full month in due realization of how you need money 'now' than later. I'm going to allow people to put 1 domain link to a website they fully own & operate on there about page (and leave it there even if you decide to quit later by listing you under 'past employees').
If you look hard enough and ask the right people, you can find a great job online. Either that, or you could find a part time job somewhere in your town which is what I suggest doing most. Doing a part time job & this would probably be best for you. One thing I've learned is you don't want to lean on Internet Marketing too much especially early on.
Good luck.

Really sorry that you're not having a good day. Money issues always seem to be very high up on the list of marriage problems, perhaps the # 1 issue with couples. Not to rub it in but, makes me kind of happy that I Am single right now. Of course, that has it's downside too. if, I don't make money then there isn't Any money!
Obviously. I don't know your husband or what his work is but, does he help you around the house at all? Don't see why he expects You to have a full time job and do All the Household Chores. Can't he "pitch" in?
Oops, now I'm getting mad!
