Wealthy Affiliate is not only the focal product you are going to be promoting on your site, but it is the home of an unbelievable amount of blog posts, training resources, discussions and videos that can be leveraged on your website.
Did You Know...
Everything at Wealthy Affiliate can be shared and you can earn credit for it. If you have been following through the task you will know this by now as you should be sharing content regularly. Sharing leads to referrals...which lead to money in your pocket.
For example, you could share any of my content on your website. Say you have a page on "how to build a website fast", you could go to the Websites Classroom and leverage any of the training modules in there.
Here is a training resource that I quickly found within that section:
Now I could add this to my website using my Affiliate Link and it would take people directly to the video walk-through showing people how I create a website in 30 seconds here at WA. You simply click the "Affiliate Link" button and your custom affiliate link that is unique to you will pop down (as show below).
If you go to this same "Create a Website in Under 30 Seconds" video, you have your own affiliate link as well (same goes for every resources within WA). You can share this link wherever you like and get full credit for any referrals that you generate as a result.
Another Good Way to Get Content Ideas...
You are naturally generating a ton of "content ideas" for your website from the classroom content at Wealthy Affiliate...and it is already categorized. By going into any of the classrooms, you can get ideas for content and topics you can write about and elaborate about on your site.
There are lots of discussions, lots of questions, lots of training tutorials, videos and courses. All of these ideas can be leverage not only for their "affiliate linking" capabilities, but also for content ideas for your site.
You can also find posts and training that you can "link to" within a search. For example, if I wanted to find a local marketing blog post or course to link to from my website, I would simply do a search at Wealthy Affiliate. (see below)
This will yield a lot content within WA that is relevant to local marketing.
Do Not OVERUSE WA Links
Use sparingly and use effectively. The last thing you want to be is a website of links, but no internal content. I would say that within a page of content that you have a maximum of 2 shared links (from here at Wealthy Affiliate) and only do this if it makes sense.
Before I get into the tasks, I have created a Video Overview outlining how you an leverage content here at WA.
Task 1: Add Your WA Profile Link to your About Me Page
Your first task is going to be linking to your profile on your About Me page.
I link directly to my profile.

If you are linking to your profile, it will automatically set your affiliate cookie. In fact, anything that you are the author of directly within WA you can link directly to (without your affiliate link) as you will get the default affiliate credit so there is no need to add your affiliate link.
Tell people when they join through you, you will follow them right away and they will be able to network with you personally. Refer to it as your hangout. This can lead to high conversions.
Task 2: Create ONE Question here at WA (link to it from your site)
Create a question here within WA, this could be a question you need help with or it could be something that you get a lot of people asking and you want to answer yourself (which I have done in my example below).
You can create a question here at Wealthy Affiliate by going to your top header clicking the "pen" icon. This will drop down several options, you will want to choose the Ask a Question option.
Here is a sample question that I created that would fit nicely into a page on my website that pertains to "how to create quality webpages" (coming soon).
DISCUSSION: I use h3 and h4 headings but is it a good idea?
After you create your question, link to it from the most appropriate page "naturally" on your site.
Task 3: Create ONE New Post on Your Website
Your last task today is going to be creating a new page on your website. This page could be anything, from the list of 10 topics related to your three chosen themes, it could be another product review, or it could be a blog post about anything you want really.
Content creation and building out your website should be part of your regular activities and I recommend that you make it habit to create content regularly.
To be completely honest, content is going to be your quickest route to success and becoming an authority within the industry (which you are well on your way to becoming)!.
