I haven't had a lot of time to research the meaning of the Member Rank.  Today I looked at it & it was way up to 341.  Just yesterday, I believe it was in the 3000's range.  My popularity is only 16.  I can't imagine why my member rank would jump that high (unless I'm confusing it with another number).

I'm just reading my messages this weekend since I'm working.  I will get back to work with WA on Monday.  I'm already eager to do so.

Member Rank is shrouded in secrecy and constantly changing, rather like the Google algorithms. This week, I heard a whisper that the bigger the smile in your profile pic, the higher your ranking. That's why you're zooming up! ;-)

Mine's been jumping up and down like crazy too. Moved up just above 100, then dropped into the 300s, then suddenly into the 3000s. Then, practically overnight, it went to 145.
1courage, I think it may have something to do with the gold - how much you are getting and therefore are valued by the community. That might explain your jump and mine.

I wanna know too... I was at 331 now I am back in the 5000's
and I wasn't doing to much at the 300 point.
So, I am not too sure how it's all working...

I'm only guessing, but it's likely because of the blogging that you are doing and the ppl that are coming to read it. I don't think you are confusing it. =)
