F1 Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi

Last Update: November 12, 2010

I am a huge Formula 1 fan and have been watching this sport for many years.

 This is one weekend when everything gets put to oneside.

This is the last Race of the 2010 Season and although I'm pretty much sure who is going to win the Driver's Championship it still isn't cut and dried until the chequered flag on Sunday.

 Will it be;

Mark Webber

Sebastian Vettell

or Fernando Alonso.

Really I would like Lewis Hamilton to win it but as much as I do have a huge amount of faith in this young man's ability, I do have to be realistic.

All the above would have to come last!

Unfortunately not a lot of work is going to get done.

But boys and their toys do come first......lol

If you are interested to have a look at what I'm rattling on about, take a look here;

Good race. I'm a big Alonso fan so I was a bit disappointed, but it's always fun to see a first timer. And just a kid - some of these guys never attain what this guy has attained at 23. Now he can break away from Schumacher comparisons as a champ in his own right. Now, on to next season.

Excellent qualifying. Would have liked to have seen Webber up front. Hamilton no chance of championship but he's definitely shook things up. Be interesting to see Alonso get out of the McLaren sandwich. He'll have his work cut out with Hamilton in front, defending and Button attacking from behind. Roll on tommorrow.

Hi Bigman
Yes, everything stops for F1. I am also a fan and will have "live timing on for the Qualifying and the race. Also admire Lewis but feel his temperament gets the better of him. Hope Alonso wins the drivers championship. He started from so far back mid-season.

Great post. It's good to not be business all the time. Love the F1 and this is the tightest I've seen it in a long time. Hamilton lot faster than Alonso and it is going to be interesting with they 2. I reckon Vettel will take it. If not then Webber. Alonso not got to many mates up front and I'm interested to see if Hamilton sticks it to Alonso just to get a red bull take the chequred flag first. I'm not to keen on Alonso. It is a sport where it's every man for himself on track but at times he just over steps the mark. You have be strategic and play nice sometimes. One of his worst was nearer the start of the season when he was overtaking Massa going into the pit lane. Great weekend coming up.

lol...nice post Neil!

I still stand by what I said in the forum, but I agree with you about Hamilton...it would be fantastic. If he doesn't win it then I'd like to see Webber win, but again I think that's unlikely.

Oh...I just noticed that Hamilton is fastest in second practice, so let's hope he can put in a shift when it will REALLY count tomorrow!
