Day 2 Complete

Last Update: July 23, 2012
Ok, that was pretty light material. Got both sets of goals written down. It makes sense so far. There are a couple of things that bother me. I received an email that was from "Carson/Kyle" urging me to buy "Jaaxy". It's a summer keyword extravaganza bonus. From what I read this software deals with keywords and domain names. I am only in day two of the free trial and already I am being urged to spend money. The other thing that bothers me is a premium membership pop-up. Again I am being urged to spend money and I am only in day two of the free trial. I read thru the entire offer and it gives you access to the best keyword tool around. If that is the case why would I be interested in "Jaaxy". The "Jaaxy" program provides training. Shouldn't all that "Jaaxy" stuff be available to premium members with "Wealthy Affiliate University". Carson and Kyle are the co-founders of "Jaaxy/Wealthy Affiliate/StreetArticals". This is starting to smell. I'm going to keep on with the free trial but my confidence has been shaken.

Hey Bud.

It's funny, my experience has been the reverse. I was on the WA email list for a long time, I got lots of info. on a daily basis but never any offers. I can't even seem to throw money at Carson and Kyle at the moment, they don't want my Jaaxy subs. annually in advance!

That said, WA is a business, subscriptions are how they make their living, so it's not unexpected that they will want to promote that aspect of it as often as they can. For me, their promotions have been much less hassle than many other businesses I've dealt with. For example, when I book first-time space in a newspaper or magazine, I know from that point on I can expect daily emails and at least a weekly call from their reps. nagging me to take double-page spreads and offering specials.

OK, it's no doubt possible to find everything that's available on this site scattered elsewhere on the web for free. In my case, the problem was always how to sort the wheat from the chaff. Oh, and avoid the outright scams. You have 10 free days to decide if WA is right for you. I didn't even have that luxury, I had to risk the money blind as I joined up before the 10 day offer was ever available. I paid for a month at WA and then immediately signed up for a year. I think the wealth (!) of information, training, support and sheer convenience makes it a bargain.

However, YMMV.

Hi Bud080770.

I have been a member here for about 7 months and I continue to use the WA Keyword Tool and have not purchased a Jaaxy membership.

I agree with you. It would be fabulous if they included Jaaxy with the WA membership but I'm sure you will find using the WA Keyword Tool sufficient. You don't want to overwhelm yourself in the beginning anyway. Learning how 'to do this' while your learning how 'to do that'....it's just overwhelming.

Hi, don't let the Jaaxy bonus change your mind about WA. Yes, Jaaxy does cost money to use it. However, they do have a trial of 30 free searches before you have to commit to shelling out any money. As a member of the 10-day free trial offer, you can use the WA Keyword tool. This tool works very well. I use it all the time and I do not use Jaaxy.

Stick with the 10-day program. You will eventually be shown how to use the WA Keyword tool. Down the road, when you have become more proficient at becoming an online marketer, than purchase Jaaxy. In the meantime, the WA Keyword tool will still be available. I have been using the WA keyword tool for over 2 1/2 years.

I want to welcome you to WA and hope that you will complete the 10-day trial and see just what WA has to offer. Good luck!
