Finding the right balance

Last Update: August 17, 2012
I think I have spotted a very crucial thing - that of finding the right balance or hitting the right spot, so to speak. By balance, I not only mean adjusting time between different works, family and personal time, but also in terms of occupying your brain and body behind something. I remember when I first started off as an article writer last year, I sometimes wrote well over 20 articles a day. That was not something that I am cut out for, at least for now. I have seen I can write decent stuff as long as I am physically and mentally comfortable doing it. If I push myself too hard, the quality curve starts dropping off.

But then there is so much more to life, apart from the day to day routine - there is always something new coming up - an exam in college, some social gathering I can't afford to miss, some unexpected workload and of course, an illness that takes me by surprise.

Time management is therefore of utmost importance, in almost anything that you are doing. Life is so fast-paced and sometimes it feels like you can barely keep up, because your mind wants to pause, think and rest a little. But you can't pause - it's as if you have to do whatever it is you need to do "on the go".
I am not really complaining, it is just an observation. :) I hope I make some sense.

Cheers.
