Hi All,
My name is Rea, from a semi-rural town in Essex, UK.
I am a nurse by profession. I love reading, travelling and and self improvement programs.2 years ago, I took up property investing as a way to ensuring financial freedoom in my retirement but due to the worldwide recession, that hasn't gone according to plan.I have a tiny portfolio. The properties are renting but are in negative equity.
I have always loved Marketing and have been selling on Ebay for over 4 years. From what I know now, I was approaching that wrongly too.. Though I did very well in the early years the economic downturn put a spoke to that.
I recently took early retirement from my nursing job due to ill-health, and have been trying to get a go at Affiliate Marketing on my own for the past 3 months, with very little success.I found it to be jungle out there and I seemed to be puddling furiously like a dog in a huge pond, but going nowhere.I had joined a Money Makers Coaching Club, supposedly to be taught by millionaires but all one got access to were tons of outdated video tutorials,(Nothing worked), so that turned up to be a dead squid.. Can't go into details here, but after 2 months, I cut my loses and unsubscribed.
Anyway, two weeks ago, I saw an email referal of WA Travis and as a result, I joined WA over a week ago. And From what I have been reading on the site so far, I am now convinced that joining WA was a very wise decision. However I am not techie and that's a bit of a drawback. But I remain positive as it feels good and is motivational to be part of a very welcoming and supportive community. Thanks PotPiedgirl, Kyle and Roy Penrod.... I don't feel so alone.

Hi, Lois! Welcome to WA! And thanks for adding me as a buddy.
WA is a great resource. I look at it like a trade organization for affiliate marketers. Yeah, they've got some great learning tools, but the real value comes from building relationships with other (and more successful) affiliate marketers.
I just started a little over 3 weeks ago and just made my first sale yesterday. It was also my first $50 day, too!

Oh yeah, that first sale felt really great. I actually did a crazy little jib in my living room. lol
Don't tell anyone ... but the other sales feel pretty good too. *wink*
Good luck with finding a niche. I've got an article about it over at my WA blog. It links to some good resources that might help you find your first niche.

Hi,
My name is Lois Chigovanyika.I have just joined the Wealth Affiliate Community. I recently took early retirement from Nursing and have been trying to get a go at Affiliate Marketing with very little success. I saw a referal of WA from a Bum Marketing Group member and as a result, I joined WA. And From what I have read so far, I believe joining WA was a wise decision. There is so much scope for newbies to learn, aquire the necessary skills and build a viable business.
