E=mc2 moment. +Knowledge. -Understanding.
Last Update: June 15, 2012
I took some time out this morning to quickly re-read 30 Day Success Club in its entirety, applying it to my (domain)fanclub.com concept. I’ve come to the conclusion that idea is a potential #fail. I think I’d need a lot more experience before attempting to adapt WA training to something so specific.
I’ve therefore gone back to Day #1 to start over.
Since joining here, I’ve caught some buzz about Jaaxy, so I wandered over and had a play. I entered various combinations of favoured keywords until I got a green light. Eureka! I immediately ordered up the .org domain which was the only one available. However, in hindsight, this was undoubtedly an E=mc2 moment, in that I know what it stands for but not how to apply it, and therefore I’ve probably made a mistake. I liked my combination of keywords but the QSR was over 400, which I gather from the info. panel is not a good thing.
The full results were: Monthly Searches: 135672, Estimated Searches: 23065, QSR: 406, SEO Power: 89.
I’d appreciate some advice. Is this domain useable with a QSR of 406? If not, no probs. please just let me know and I’ll start again!

I agree with Chill85. Over 400 basically means it's going to be a little harder to rank it for THAT particular keyword/phrase. But if it is otherwise a relevant, keyword rich domain, and you plan to build lots of unique, relevant. useful content anyway....
Might take a bit more to get ranked high, but with that much traffic it could be worth it.

Hey there
I whould definitely go with it, 406 QSR is really not that much in comparison with 135k search volume. It could be it is a little bit harder to rank as a keyword with less then 400 (not my experience, i still go after less then 5000 QSR and have good rankings, but thats if you already have some experience under your belt) . But IF it whould be a little bit harder, this whould really pay off with this kind of traffic.
