Well what can I write here? First off I am a mother of two boys who are now living away from home. One has just had his first daughter, so I am now a very young, I like to think, grandmother! My other son just joined the Canadian military as a electrical engineer, we are very proud of him.
So that leaves me and my husband of 23years, come May 2010, together at home with our two labs. Molson is going on 15yrs and has gotten a lot of the traditional lumps that labs get, so we just take things month by month. He stills has a great appetite and loves his walks, even though he stumbles a lot. Skyla(falling from the sky, is the loose french translation) is our black lab that did kind of fall into our laps. She will be 4 in April and is full of life and energy and bouncing around. She loves to go outside and catch mice and in the summer she fishes for our gold fish in our huge pond....and yes she has caught a few.
I used to work in a factory assembly golf clubs until I got laid off. Since then I have tried to find work, recently I went through an extensive hiring process with 580 other people, I made it to the last 80. So it is very difficult to find anything.
When my boys were growing up I ran a daycare and worked evenings to be around for them. I have tried everything from Avon to Tupperware making some money but nothing lasting. Finally tried some internet stuff and got into a few MLM programs again with no long term success just buying countless products every month. I then stumbled across affiliate marketing and have been trying my hand at that. Again not really knowing what to do to be successful.
Somehow I stumbled across Wealthy Affiliate and spent several weeks checking it out and watching many, many You tube videos and could not find any complaints, so I was impressed. My next issue was getting the money together to pay for the first month, I was really reluctant to put anything on a credit card. I managed to find a job on the net helping someone out with creating back links, so this is how I got the first payment together and my goal is to earn my 2nd payment through WA!
My ultimate goal is to earn enough to 'retire' my husband from his job of 33 years with the same company as a tool maker! He is frustrated with the same routine and being unappreciated! He wants out real bad and I want to give back for the hard work he has done allowing me to be home with the kids and only working part-time for many years.
