Stop Reading, Start Doing
I'm guilty of being the sort of person who will spend most of my time reading up on how to do something, and then not put it in practice. Usually I see all the potential I could do with the information, but actually starting is so very, very hard for me.
Not Anymore.
Two things prompted me into action. The first is work. We had an exhaust error come across our truck, and when we pulled over to find out what was going on, we were struck by another semi and our mirror was obliterated. We spent 5 days waiting on repairs. We get paid for the downtime, but it's about a third of what we usually make. That, and our milage is low, so we're not making much of anything.
The breakdown lead me to the second reason. While we had downtime, I attended a webinar promoting a super affiliate product. I didn't have the money to invest in the program, but the webinar, added to what I've learned here, and with the Niche Blogger site, made me realize there's a lot of potential out there.
So I've started doing. And I've started prioritizing. There's a site I have been working on, very near and dear to my heart (only one in my links site), and as much as I love it, it's a waste of time. I picked a bad niche, and while I can work on it as a side project, the amount of time it takes me is too much. I've made $0.86 on it in 5 months, and I'm sure I've spend 86 hours on it. A penny an hour isn't enough. So it's getting pushed down the list.
It's scary stuff, but I'm seeing the potential out there, and damnit, I want a piece of it. So it's time to get to work.
I hope ur post will change that.
Thanks.
