No one said W.A. work was going to be PHYSICAL...

Last Update: June 18, 2012

Over 3 weeks ago I started the 30 success club and I am stuck, albeit a self imposed "stuck", around day 7. I began to get un-focused and start perusing all the articles and training and reading people's bios...Well so much for working on my website :) Everyone has so much to offer in their own right, I know I can gleen something from each contact, so I just keep reading and then I read their training and blogs, which leads to confusion...
I told my husband it was time I got a desk so I could work in our bedroom and CONCENTRATE.
Checked some out on Craigslist, went and looked at one which was the size of a principal's school desk (they hadn't listed dimensions, but oh the pictures looked nice!). Yeah, not happening.
Found one at the end of someone's driveway as we drove home, haggled the price like "Pawn Stars" and for $25 I got my home office!!! I have a nice black leather chair, so I'm all set!
The physical part...cleaning and bringing that thing upstairs in my house!!! It was a humid 85 degrees when we were doing this, and although we have air conditioning, it was a workout!
Now I gotta bring the chair up too...that sucker's big!!
Thanks W.A. for expanding my brain AND muscles!

My lap is my desk and I wouldn't have it any other way but I don't have a lot of distractions in my home. My biggest distraction is having ten tabs open and trying to read a little here and there and never finishing anything. I am trying to force myself to finish things. Glad you got your desk and a workout and the same time.

Amy, I don't think of reading all those articles and bios etc as un-focusing....and I have stopped worrying about the confusion (mostly). I have discovered that when I go back to the 30 day training again after a "bout" of what might seem to be unfocused time - I actually understand what I was working on better. Some small thing that didn't make any sense now does! It's actually a part of my process. I look at it as exponential learning. I then go back and re-read the trainings, blogs etc and more bits of information make sense. What I am finding is that there is no ONE way to engage in the training here. We all have our own paths - the only danger is in not "doing" something.

You're right jay. Things I am doing now, such as adding pictures to my street articles (accomplished a few days ago), are a piece of cake! BlS (Beverley) had great suggestions on photo websites and I took it. I dove into the training head first, but reading all the wonderful W.A. community has to offer really has enlightened me as i go back into my web design. Thanks for the insight!

Well now you got your setup :) I did the same thing but I am still working from my kitchen table... If I can give you a tip. Get a calendar write down 3 -5 things that you want to accomplish every day. Set your weekly schedule on Sundays. By doing this I feel so much more organized and I get things done. :)

That's a great idea...I actually write things on scraps of paper and put them on my bathroom counter then tape to the mirror if the day goes on and they are still not done.
Talk about disorganized..I need one of those big calenders for top of the desk, like teachers use (my hubby's a teacher)!!!

I did yellow post it notes for ever :) work but there are easier ways, the teacher calender will cover you whole desk ha ha ha
An elite "knowledge" center and a gym, all in one low price! Can't beat it. Congratulations on your new "stuff".
