Salk on The Risky

"Always seeking certainty before taking action can severely limit productivity. In some cases, the evaluation and search for certainty is more costly than a potential failure due to action."

"Risks, I like to say, always pay off. You learn what to do, or what not to do."

Jonas Salk (1914-1995)
American biologist
Developed the vaccine for polio.

I have always been a certainty sort of guy, its really hard to let go of the old tapes and break out and just do it. I'm working on reframing my lifestyle and my old habits. Getting there slowly, but I am getting there.

Very true. You find out what works by first finding out what does not work. Edison did that a good few times. If he hadn't we might still be wandering around in the dark lighting candles. Thank you for the post. Today I might just take a few more risks.
