Signed My First Offline Client!!

Last Update: January 06, 2011

"Offline client"??

I just started my own website design/online marketing company (still haven't officially launched..hehe) and signed my first client today!! It's a web redesign job and reoccurring(monthly) social media/adwords/SEO campaign (still negotiating the monthly fees)

Ok, so it has nothing to do with article marketing or making an online sale, but it has everything to do with how we market our own sites and utilizing the skills WE all have.

I took the skills that I've learned over the years and even from WA (even with being a member of WA for...oh...4 days??), and offered it as a service. It's amazing how much knowledge we actually have about all this IM stuff...isn't it? I surprised myself with my presentation...INSIDE A STARBUCKS!! hahaha

It's not big money, but it helps...4 figures to redo their website isn't bad, right? Plus I'm contracting that work out for less than 20%! BOOYAH!!

My plan is to leave the IT world here real soon, and while I'm working on building the IM stuff,  I feel I need to do something in the real world to bring home the bacon.

What better way  than to offer services that I'm totally immersing myself in every night???

 Anyways, just thought I'd share.

Now back to IM for myself = )

Nice one. I always say that people don't realise the skill set they have with IM. Some people just aren't suited to make money selling affiliate products but they don't realise they can use the same process to make money elsewhere. Local SEO, setting up sites, link building, even just teaching the basics of what IM is can all earn money. Way to go man and best of luck in the future whichever direction you take. AC
