The last blog post I proved how little I knew about making videos. Now, for this blog post I'll show how little I know about mobile sites. :)
I think everyone already knows that mobile friendly sites are an important thing to have. I read the other day that Google pays special attention to those sites that are mobile friendly. I don't how true that is but being mobile can't hurt right?

So, what I want to share with you is a link so you can make a free mobile friendly version of your site through google and duda mobile.

Basically I found this after me and my Dad were offered some expensive tools that could make all of our sites mobile. Of course the software was awesome and of course I really wanted it. But, I like to try the free stuff before I spend tons of money on something I might not need. Now, I would guess that the free stuff I used doesn't create as nice of a site as the other. However, I gotta say I'm really happy with the way my site looks on my mobile device now. Even though I used the free stuff google offered.

The only thing I'm not sure of is that you have to add a plugin to your WP site. I don't like to do that because I don't know how many plugins before a site starts to lag when its loading. But, other than that it was really easy to do, and it looks great.

They have a handful of templates and menu options you can use. And you get an email regarding the number of mobile visits to the site. Which was cool because I was getting some mobile traffic that I didn't know about. Now I feel comfortable knowing I'm not losing that traffic simply because they can't navigate through the site.

I haven't dug into it real hard yet, so thats about all I know for now. But I do recommend it if your site isn't mobile friendly.
