One Noob To Another

Last Update: June 25, 2012
Well, I've been at WA for a couple months now and I've really learned a lot. I've been able to come along way since starting out here. I've ranked on the first page for a few different niches, created some nice looking sites and even made a few sales. So naturally I'm hooked. :)

I've seen a lot of new people joining and I noticed EVERYONE here always helps them. Whether its in live chat or writing training. So I started wondering how I could help. Someone always helps me out when I have a question and I want to do the same. But, I don't want to write training until I'm confident that I have something valuable to share.

So I made it one of my goals to be a contributor and start writing training. But until I have the knowledge to train new affiliates I thought I could make some blog posts. To tell you some of the simpler things I did when I started here.

For now I want to tell you to read everything you can. My first week here I watched almost all WAbinars and tried to read the forum from front to back. Even if the video has nothing to do with what your working on that day, try to watch it. You will always pick up little tips that help. I notice this all the time. Keep an eye on the live chat area,(there is tons of knowledge there) read as much as you can and watch the vids.

I guess a good example of what I mean would be last weeks WAbinar. "Sharing & Promoting Wealthy Affiliate" I watched it and learned about google url shortener and its tracking. Also jay showed us some tricks using jaaxy. Do you see what you could have learned by watching even if you weren't interested in promoting WA.

I hope this has helped someone or atleast reminded them of some of the simpler things to do when starting out. I know its simple but often the simple things are overlooked.

Also remember its easy to feel overwhelmed so pace yourself. Don't rush anything perfection takes time.

Thank you so much for the information. I though I was spinning my wheels, but it looks like I am on the right track of doing things, also I might suggest is to not be afraid to ask question with other members here at WA!! Thanks abetts23

I agree. I've been distracted alot since I've been here but the distractions are good distractions. Even if you don't catch everything in the training or video, if you manage to get one good thing out of it I think it will always be worth your time.
