Actually, the title should have "/or is it the mere fact that I made big changes?"  Yesterday I published rewritten articles for my first site.  The first version articles had keyword density under 2.  The new version has keyword density between 3.1 and 3.4%  Before I made the changes, I went to  https://adwords.google.com/select/AdTargetingPreviewTool and asked it how my site was doing.  Last night, after I published the changed version, I pinged my site.

Did some social bookmarking, today being 'get backlinks' day.  Within 6 hours of starting I got as much activity from that as I got yesterday the whole day from everything, but the money part from social bookmarking is still 0. One of my articles is #1 in Google, my site is in 2nd and 3rd.  I want my article to come after my site.  On principle, I gave birth to it 2nd.  I've been trying for 2 weeks.  The son of a gun won't let me ahead. I thought kids are supposed to show respect to their parents.  What gives?
