A Message Of Love, Peace, Joy, and Unlimited Potential

Last Update: December 22, 2010

Just want to share a few thoughts before going back to decorating house for Christmas.

We are all blessed by just being here together, learning this new form of communication, this new business model, meeting people from all over the world and learning from each other daily. It is certainly a privilege to be here, not to be taken for granted for one minute. Sure it gets confusing at times, but so what? It all comes out in the wash in the end. Confusion is not really a problem,  just a temporary inconvenience and an opportunity to triumph. When you think about it, how absolutely empowering is that! You're learning how to own your own piece of a HUGE pie. You're seizing that brass ring at last! This is your ticket to personal freedom and independence!

Along with privilege comes responsibility.  Does this new tool we are mastering portend a potential destructive use? So what if it does? I know my buddies here are doing great things on the Internet. There are others out there, eh...not so wonderful. Would you call that corruption? The Internet is free and needs to stay that way. The real corruption is governmental interference. When has the government ever made things better? We are in an age of  "specialists". I'll bet the FCC doesn't even know what a keyword is. Furthermore, anyone who disagrees with the political agenda du jour can be excluded from the conversation. How democratic is that? We want to hear every point of view. Oh, I don't want to get political in a Christmas message.

It's only natural, only moral to protect our families, our friends, our homes, our FREEDOM. We protect what we value most. When we have something that we hold in high esteem, we have a responsibility to protect it. We all need to do our part to protect the Internet. One of the best ways to do our part is through personal integrity, by providing valuable content and quality products. That's in the long run.  In the short run,  participate by keeping eyes and ears open to censure from outside entities. We have a voice and must use it. Take an active part in protecting freedom wherever we still have it, including the Internet. Together, we can provide the necessary impetus to protect the sanctity of a free medium.

I don't know if the FCC is going through with its plans or not. Sure hope they will be defeated. Very frustrating. Obviously, I am passionately opposed to governmental interference, notwithstanding, the Internet. Keep your eye on Pete's new blog. He's addressing the matter.

Meanwhile, I remain optimistically hopeful, despite the lunatics.

I send all of you love and harmony and prosperous, healthy wishes for 2011!

Thanks for your wishes Joan. I'm sure we all hope that the new year will bring sanity to our governing bodies. We can only hope that the masses have a say in our current predicament. Hope your Christmas was a happy one.
