They take away Gold, Silver and Bronze...

or just the accomplishment of getting to the games and competing.
What do you take away?
At every Olympic event, take time to thank the athletes. They are your teachers.
They teach me more about winning and the joy of reaching for excellence, than a million motivational tapes all strung together.
You don't have to win a medal to be a champion.
"Championship" in all seasons, under all circumstances has victory attached to its name. Always.
Losing and winning are both a matter of attitude. You never lose if you have a winning attitude.
Here's the way Jim Afremow, Ph.D, LPC defines a champion:
"A champion is a person who:
• Strives to find out how great he or she can be
• Talks soft, plays big
• Loves the battle more than the victory
• Hates to lose, but is not afraid to lose
• Goes through the fire to reach their goals
• Always competes with purpose and passion
• Learns lessons from losses
• Lives in the present moment
• Focuses on continuous daily improvement
• Does not base his or her self-worth on the scoreboard
How do YOU define "champion"?
Give 'em your all.
