Acid Test
Let's see what happens. I took Kyle's advice and just wrote about something that interests me. It was tons of fun. I think it was informative.
Didn't think once about kw density. I just wrote the article in total freedom. Long article, 1,367 words. Whew! I hope it's not boring so people won't read it. At any rate, I just want to see what happens. If they don't read it, then I get one answer. It they do read it, then I might inspire someone through the experience I shared.
I enjoyed writing it. We'll see. Btw, EZA would never get it. EZA rules are not consistent with the new Google mandate.
If sharing, informing, teaching, helping is the new goal, and if it helps to create a brand for us too, then we're in for a good time.
Update: That's it. I'm p.....'d! XX@#$%@XC
They rejected the article, claiming I didn't have enough "relevant" content on the landing page, or enough words. I put a block of over 250 extra words on my home page just to placate SA. Didn't even want it there. I want the home page to be uncluttered and simple. Is SA trying to design my site? I changed the link to another relevant site, relevant to the article. Same thing. Waste of time. Looks like it's back to EZA for me. With all this fine creative talk, someone is acting robotic. Is the "team" really just software and not humans? Poor communication. I have better conversations with HP robot.
Next Update: It was approved!
But I had to link to another website. My sites are about art and design and the article was about unleashing creativity, so it was relevant in both cases. I'm feeling trapped by what SA will allow me to link to. My sites are blatantly "not" salesy, so I should have more of a choice what page to link, especially when I want to link to another "original" article on my own site. I can link only to the home page on one of the sites. I think SA is suffering from one size fits all syndrome. That's very limiting for a site that encourages quality writing and originality. Hope it's temporary. At any rate, thanks SA for approving the article. It's my acid test. Now let's see what happens.
