I appreciate that it was so fresh and young, yet had the pageantry we folks from other parts of the world associate with British nobility. I was also happy to see a good event in the news for a change, where people were actually happy about something. Sure does trump Trump.

Being in a bit of a cynical mood I wasn't going to watch - I was grumpy and on my own - but in spite of myself I put the tv on to see the dress lol! I'm so glad I did. Oh I know there are loads of things that can go wrong and all the pomp and pageantry's not up everybody's alley. But like Devan said below, it was just really lovely to see so many people coming together from all over the world smiling and sharing happy positive feelings and wishing a couple well. There's a lot of negativity in the world (and I hold my own hand up to that as well) but the whole thing just shook me out of myself and gave me a well needed positive push lol! I hope they have a wonderful life together ... just as I hope that for the rest of us too :)

I was really pleased that for one day so many people around the world came together to celebrate the wedding. We need things like the monarchy and the world cup to encourage the true nature of the human spirit as opposed to all the negativity portrayed in the media these days. I thought it was amazing and that I think they will be excellent role models for society! Oh and so different compared to the royality wanna be of North America ..... Donald Trump! :)

I thought it was tomorrow morning, not that I would have watched it. Here's hoping that history doesn't repeat itself -- I ignored the previous royal wedding, and look how it ended up!
